Dans la conception de cet appartement de montagne, la priorité a été de maximiser l’espace et la fonctionnalité tout en sortant des standards traditionnels des appartements locatifs de la région. Ainsi, chaque élément est soigneusement pensé pour répondre à cette exigence.
La cuisine ouverte, quant à elle, a été conçue selon une approche cartésienne, où chaque élément a été minutieusement positionné pour répondre aux exigences fonctionnelles sans sacrifier le design. Une table sur mesure a été ingénieusement intégrée pour accueillir jusqu’à cinq convives, ajoutant une touche pratique à l’espace de vie.

In the design of this apartment located in the French Alps, the priority was to maximize space and functionality while breaking away from the traditional standards of rental apartments in the region. Thus, each element is carefully thought out to meet this requirement.
The open kitchen was designed using a Cartesian approach, where each element was carefully positioned to meet functional requirements without sacrificing design. A bespoke table has been ingeniously integrated to accommodate up to five guests, adding a practical touch to the living space.
Afin de conférer du caractère à l’appartement tout en préservant sa fonctionnalité, des panneaux acoustiques ont été réinventés pour servir d’éléments de décoration. Ils délimitent également les différents espaces tels que l’entrée, la cuisine et le salon. Agrémentant une partie du mur principal, ces panneaux font également office de tête de lit dans la chambre principale. Pour le revêtement de sol, un linoléum au fini béton a été privilégié pour sa robustesse et sa capacité à résister à une utilisation intensive.
In order to give character to the apartment while preserving its functionality, acoustic panels were reinvented to serve as decorative elements. They also delimit the different spaces such as the entrance, the kitchen and the living room. Embellishing part of the main wall, these panels also serve as a headboard in the master bedroom. For the flooring, a concrete-finish linoleum was favored for its robustness and its ability to withstand intensive use

In the shower room, the same attention to detail has been paid, with choices of materials and layout designed to maximize the available space.
